why is the actual body of the plane not visible in the photo? shouldn't there be some kind of motion blur due to the camera capturing the plane's position multiple points in time?

It's cool to see that using a slower shutter speed doesn't produce more blur in the background. I would've intuitively thought there would be much less clarity due to longer exposure (and potentially a smaller aperture to compensate), but it seems like the image itself captures the object of focus and the background clearly.
