What is a "lighthouse" in this context? I'm presuming we don't have the two actual lighthouses in the room, so what actually tracks the movement?

If we take a look at the next slide, if you look at the static image on the slide, it's the black box on the wall that looks like it's emitting pink light. The video (which is also played in lecture) is pretty cool too; I think it's a cool watch.
