What is the "falloff" in terms of the human visual perception? I know the fovea is the point of highest resolution in human vision, but I'm curious at what rate the accuracy decreases away from that region.

Would foveated rendering suffer from latency issues? If the user's eye moves, wouldn't there be a delay in being able to track that and rerender the currently-in-focus blurred area?
