I have heard about a saying that color blindness people tend to mostly like blue nad hate brwon. Does it have anything to do with the cone cells of human or it is just a psychological thing?

@rsha256 s(λ)s(\lambda) is the spectral power distribution of the colored light we are viewing. rS(λ)r_S(\lambda) is the spectral response of the S cone cell (and similarly for M and L).

Is this why blue light appears darker to the human eye?

@ziqi yes! These curves are describing how we see color, and how we see blue light is exactly that.
