When the professor comments something about the camera wouldn't move in a nice smooth way if we use multifaceted segments, I am confused on why that would be a problem. Couldn't we do multiple matrix multiplications to change the coordinates we are seeing the objects?

One application I am reminded of is VR experiences. Motion sickness is a big problem for some people trying VR experiences. Having jerky, non continuous paths and velocities can probably contribute to the issue. Having smoother functions probably helps the technology be adapted by more people.
