From lecture, Ren explained the reason we now see a white spot is because light from the source has interacted with the surface of the sphere, refracted through the sphere, and then hit the bottom. Why does this seem to happen though with only the ball on the right? Or is it because of some material difference that causes light to not travel the same way through the ball on the left?
