The idea of having one shot from a camera that collects the data from all the different assortments of rays is very innovative. This makes me wonder if this capability allows photographers to compensate for the different trade-offs that come with having to adjust for focal length, shutter speed/size, etc.

I agree! This was a really interesting demo because it reminded me of how in a newer iPhone's portrait mode, we're actually able to also adjust the f-stop and change the focus of the image. I wonder how Ren's development of this technology may or may not be directly incorporated into our devices today?

This is a really cool tool! I wonder how the image data is stored and what the original photos look like. Also, how does this program know what the depth of the objects in the scene are?
