Then, for this slide, when calculating the RGB metamer, how are rS, rM, rL, sR, sG, sB sampled? Is there a standard in how to sample them? Will different sampling lead to different result?

I think you can use rX values measured here (http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/vision/colcon.html) and use spectrometer to measure what spectrum of light each RGB pixel emits
