As shown in the slides titled "Mathematics of Light Detection", we transform the continuous integral to the discrete dot product, and saying that the vectors used in the dot product are sampled representations. Then, for this slide, when calculating the RGB metamer, how are rS, rM, rL, sR, sG, sB sampled? Is there a standard in how to sample them? Will different sampling lead to different result?

I think you can use rX values measured here (http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/vision/colcon.html) and use spectrometer to measure what spectrum of light each RGB pixel emits
