I never knew about HSV but it seems really helpful for color manipulation for UI designers and programmers. After picking a color like blue, you can easily fine tune it to the specific blue you're looking for by messing with the saturation and value components.

HSV is more useful for various applications (e.g. circling through RGB colors). But the numerical value of certain hues isn't intuitive for me (the way that RGB is). Is wavelength not an intuitive phenomenon for perceiving human color?
