An interesting fact is that the first VR headset ever made was the "Sword of Damocles" system developed by Ivan Sutherland and Bob Sproul in the University of Utah in 1968. Hopefully, this gives some context to the evolution that VR headsets have experienced prior to the Oculus Quest 2 release.

Does anyone know how much compute is required to run most VR applications/games? If some applications require an ton of compute and require a GPU, how would that be incorporated? into a sleek headset?
