It seems as though the VR headsets tend to heat quickly because the unit has a fan. It makes me concerned whether having radiation so close to the face and eyes is safe for prolonged periods of use. If VR headsets could be made to run with more heat efficiency, perhaps the fan can be removed from the unit and the headset can be made lighter.
