Sound and light are both produced using waves and have similar characteristics, as such I was wondering if there was anything similar to ray-tracing technology that uses similar techniques for sound. Apparently, there exists a sort of ray-tracing to create 3D audio. While looking around I found these discussions and websites: https://reuk.github.io/wayverb/ray_tracer.html, https://www.reddit.com/r/audioengineering/comments/f6boj5/what_is_the_difference_between_hrtf_and_ray/
