Since the visibility is a binary variable here computed using some point on the surface, is it possible for the ray tracer to get unlucky and determine that the area is invisible while most of the area is visible?

@yang991178 great question! This entire integral is computed on points, so if one point on the surface is not visible, it does not affect the rest of the the surface. Some other point on that surface could still be visible.
