Is the fisheye lens have any benefits in the center of the image? I mean it is obvious that the sides of the image curve almost like we are looking through a sphere, but are there benefits to using this type of lens?

I believe most people use fisheye lenses for their strong visual distortion on produced images. And certainly, they have a wider angle of view than other lenses given the same focal length, as you can see the comparisons of the above 2 images.
