I thought that this image and the previous one were really cool. I often hear about how camera phones are getting better because of advances in software. I didn't really get how software could improve image quality, but I think these pictures do a really good job of demonstrating how that might happen.

What about the blue/pink tinge on the black rectangle? Is that something that software can also correct for?
