The main problem of the rasterization algorithm seen so far is that it only colors pixels binarily -- either empty or all filled. An immediate patch will be thus instead coloring pixels according to their areas inside the triangle. Another idea will be increasing the "resolution", or the sampling density, of the triangle. This means that we might want to use more pixels to represent the true shape of rasterized geometry.
