Lecture 21: Intro to Color Science (45)

This is a really interesting experiment. It seems like the ratios for red, blue, and green values out of 255 that we use to create any color. Similarly, by changing the ratio of the three colors on the wheel, you can make any color. I wonder why we use RGB values up to the number 255 specifically though.


0~255 can be represented using 8 bits of 0/1. There are also other standards of storage and display formats that use RGB values of 10 bits and above to allow for added accuracy.
