I don't quite understand how centering the vertices improves the shape. I could see how in slide 9, the triangles just seem smaller and a higher "triangle resolution" in that way. I feel like this would fundamentally change the shape? That's also one of my mesh questions like slide 9 -- how do you reason that the shape is actually similar enough to the desired?
