As we increasing d from 16mm to 200mm, if we manage to also enlarge the area of our film/sensor/image plane proportionally, will we get the same image over and over again?

@UncooleBen I would think so since the angle of view would return to the same value it was before. I think it is probably easier design-wise for cameras to simply change the distance from the image plane to the lens.
