Is there a commonly accepted DOF standard (like how small the circle of confusion has to be), or what does that vary by (e.g. by device, by lens, by viewing medium, by screen size, etc.)? For example, if I were to take a picture with a certain DOF on my camera, how do I know it will stay focused on a different screen/viewing medium?
