What's the difference between computationally extended DoF and heuristically removing blur? Back in week 2 or so we used supersampling to "increase" the resolution of a picture; these seem like they're solving a similar problem.

The basic main difference between computational extended DoF and heuristically removing blur is that DoF involves capturing and combining multiple images to create a single composite image with a greater depth of field, while heuristically removing blur involves processing a single image to reduce blur and improve sharpness.
