I thought it was really interesting that instead of using the derivative, we can compare the distance in the screen space and texture space to get the ratio of distances to compute this instead. Can we use this information alone to let us know anything about the original image and how the texture lies on the actual image? Basically, I'm curious about whether the value alone reveals anything to us about the original image.
