@tom5079 I think the reason it looks like that is because the picture of the baby in the previous slide has a much much closer background, but for this picture, the background goes way back. Other than that, to be honest yeah I agree with you, even with the shorter focal length it does seem pretty blurry in the background? Maybe it has to do with how close the animal is to the picture that causes the outside to be less clear.
