I think it's amazing that our eyes can focus automatically. No matter whether we see anything far or near, we don't need to deliberately adjust our eyes. But we can deliberately prevent our eyes from focusing. For example, if we relax our eyes, we will find that our vision becomes blurred and the views of the left and right eyes are separated.

Yes it is pretty awesome how our eyes can focus so easily. The muscles in our eyes relax when looking at far away things so that our lens becomes slim. When we look at something close, the muscle contracts and makes our lens thicker.

There is a section of the screen that both eyes share. When creating a VR system I thought it was interesting how you probably need to display the video in the perspective of both eyes (there will be intersecting scenes), yet our eyes process the scene as one.
