During lecture, someone asked why judder doesn't happen as much with non vr displays. I think one reason that wasn't mentioned is that non-vr displays usually have a much higher frame rate

I remember when I had the iPhone 6 and I used the Camera app, the judder would get really bad when it was in "Photo" mode, but it would be much better when it was in "Video" mode. I couldn't explain it then, but now I think it's because the camera has a lower fps when it was in Photo mode compared to when it was in Video mode.
