What is the definition of "convolution" for this course?
Staffi-geng
Convolution in this course will generally refer to the sliding window example on this slide (cs184.eecs.berkeley.edu/sp24/lecture/3-51/antialiasing). The kernels we care about are also symmetric (box, Gaussian), so we may omit mentioning that technically we are flipping the kernel!
