As a small aside, I'm consistently amazed by the rendering technology that Pixar develops for their shorts; it's definitely worth exploring more of the articles on their website like this one: https://www.pixar.com/piper This short film started as a small proof of concept made by their software development team, and it eventually turned into its own short.
