Lecture 14: Material Modeling (34)
gprechter

No sure where to put this, but I was curious as to if its possible to take real like images of objects and such and turn them into models with the same texture and material behavior and I found an article discussing how real life images can be converted into textures for use in rendering:

http://graphics.cs.yale.edu/site/tr1483

This gave me the idea that maybe its possible to use a constrained setup to analyze how light interacts with a material in order to scan that material for use in rendering.
