@jchen I think it has to do with what type of fabric it is. The original paper : http://graphics.berkeley.edu/papers/Wang-DDE-2011-08/Wang-DDE-2011-08.pdf compares the gray interlock clock with 11 oz black denim, navy sparkle sweat, among others.
