Interestingly, I've tried to model a simple two-body system with forward Euler integration. It manifests the instability referred to in earlier slides with orbital precession. I wonder if the more accurate forms of integration would be able to eliminate this precession (though from the sounds of it, seems like the answer is no? Just reduce it).
