Lecture 21: Image Sensors (74)
gprechter

An interesting source of image noise that I remember looking into when we were looking at the Fourier Representation of images is sinusoidal noise, which can corrupt and create noise on an image through electromagnetic radiation. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_noise#Periodic_noise This type of noise can actually be removed by analyzing and removing certain frequencies in the Fourier Domain and then can be de-noised in the Fourier Domain and then reconverted into the image domain. Really cool and unique aspect of noise.
