Serious kudos to Prof. Ragan-Kelley, this seems extraordinarily useful. I can definitely imagine having to use this in industry. I feel like it would be helpful to learn to use this the computational photography class (CS194-26).

It's really cool how the halide language enables a lot of what we've talked about in the last few lectures in terms of improving image quality without costing the end user basically anything at all. Here's another interesting talk about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3uiEyEKji0M
