I was curious how ray tracing would handle multiple light sources a la dual sun in Tatooine and found this resource from LearnOpenGL (https://learnopengl.com/Lighting/Multiple-lights). However, I'm still confused on whether the Blinn Phong model should only be used for diffuse light sources or can it be used for point light sources like a laser. Would anyone be able to comment on that?
