Why does solving with numerical integration lead to instability issues?

As above, I am also confused as to how numerical integration would further lead to instability? I'm unsure as to what error values we are discussing in terms of compounding? Thanks

These questions are somewhat answered by the diagrams on the previous and next slide, showing the trajectory of the simulation going further and further away from the real trajectory.
