How effective are these VR cameras in creating an entire image? Or are these more for the fun of it than the actual quality?

It'll be interesting to see how the progress in this application of VR will affect the ticket sales of events; if people can virtually 'attend' and have a visually interesting experience, they might opt out of dropping money on tickets for all the events they would normally attend
