One of the bigger limitations to using VR headsets would be the need for prescription eyewear. Barring contacts, I found a company that makes lenses specifically for headsets like the Oculus Rift https://vr-lens-lab.com/

@kevkang definitely an issue companies should be addressing when making VR headsets. While you can put your eyewear in the headset as long as it isn't too big, it won't be very comfortable for extended use sessions.
