Surprised that computer graphics is such a developed field. Coming into this class, I thought that computer graphics was a very specific subfield of CS since it's not tied very strongly to other common upper division CS courses, but I'm discovering that the field is much deeper than it seems.

@jamesyc23 - For sure! I initially wanted to study graphics for a super specific reason (rendering movies!) but the reason I love it so much/think it's so cool is that there are so many applications of graphics, and so many other places where it's relevant.
