Lecture 15: Advanced Topics in Material Modeling (51)

I would assume even for something where it doesn't matter how slow the program runs like an animation or movie that this method would produce the "best" looking result. Then again, there is alot of hair, features, etc... that would have multiple bounces so is this method ever used?


Could we have possibly used a similar system to how we stop an avoid raytracing to infinite. Like we can just have a chance of stopping the tracing with a random Variable?
