Lecture 17: Intro to Animation, Kinematics, Motion Capture (39)

In practice, what kind of constraints are tractable for this problem? It seems like every constraint would make this problem exponentially more difficult.

There is so much overlap in animation and robotics. These problems we are examining here are the same types of problems we examined in 106a last semester. Then it sort of occurred to me that it makes sense that the problems would be the same as animation is meant to mimic the real world so real world problems are animation problems as well. It's still a connection I wouldn't have likely made if not for this class but it does make a lot of sense that the problems would be the same.
