connecting to the exposure trade offs (slide 88), if we have control over ISO, this would mean that we can achieve both small aperture size and fast shutter speed right (hence avoiding the tradeoff)?

I think there might be another tradeoff, which is the noise. A higher ISO makes the image look grainy and noisy, though it should still be an unbiased estimator of the light!
